About the Canadian Journal of Pain
Our open access journal is broadly aimed at all aspects of pain research - The Canadian Journal of Pain / Revue canadienne de la douleur covers basic science, multidisciplinary clinical research, and knowledge implementation science. It is an Open Access, international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research.

Open Access (OA) means you can publish your research so it is free to access online as soon as it is published, meaning anyone can read (and cite) your work. Please see the Guide to Open Access for more information.

The standard charge to publish an article in the Journal is listed below:
Note: 'Long paper' shall consist of more than five (5) typeset pages and a 'short paper' shall consist of less than five (5) typeset pages.
