OUTSTANDING PAIN MENTORSHIP AWARD 2021

APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2020

DESCRIPTION

The Outstanding Pain Mentorship Award will be presented annually at the CPS Annual Scientific Meeting to a researcher and/or clinician who consistently exemplifies outstanding mentorship in the training of future pain researchers and/or clinicians. The selection will be made by a committee formed by the Canadian Pain Society.

AWARD

The award will consist of:

  • $1000 honorarium
  • Plaque
  • Complimentary 2021 Scientific Meeting registration

SUBMISSION CRITERIA

  • Candidates must be nominated by at least 1 colleague or current/former trainee
  • The person(s) nominating and the nominee must be current members in good standing with the Canadian Pain Society
  • Nomination letter (max 2 pages) describing the mentorship qualities of the candidate
  • Nominee’s curriculum vitae

FORMAT

All documents must be combined and uploaded into one PDF file that is no larger than 30 MB.
