Canadian Diabetes Association Tradeshow Report – October 27, 28 and 29, 2011 Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, Ontario

The Canadian Pain Society attended the Canadian Diabetes Association CDA/CSEM professional conference on October 27th 2011 to October 29th 2011. The conference took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the core of downtown Toronto. The conference was a continuing education conference and was a forum for interaction between Canadian clinicians, scientists, diabetes educators and other health-care professionals. The tradeshow was a huge success and provided the Canadian Pain Society to further branch out to reach a new group of health-care professionals who work closely with people with Diabetes.
The attendees who attended the conference were made up of Medical Doctors, Nurses, Dietitians, Pharmacists and Students. There were approximately 3000 in attendance. The Canadian Pain Society had great interest among the many attendees in our membership with the Canadian Pain Society. To date we have acquired 56 new members by being present in the tradeshow.
Overall, attending the Canadian Diabetes Association CDA/CSEM professional conference was a great success for the Canadian Pain Society.
