Dr. Adam Stein trained as a psychiatrist and did his residency at McMaster University Hospital, Hamilton. Subsequently, he was a staff psychiatrist at the Greater Niagara General Hospital and then at North York General Hospital. Dr. Stein is currently in private practice, with an interest in mood disorders, chronic pain and psychosomatic illness. He is the Medical Director of Metamorphosis, a multidisciplinary clinic. We use cognitive therapy and a blend of techniques such as; Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), hypnosis, and Brain Spotting.
