GETTING TO WHISTLER
By air:
To get to Whistler, BC, you must arrive at the Vancouver International Airport. Their website at: http://www.yvr.ca/en/Default.aspx, provides all of the information you will need to make arrangements for either car rental, bus transportation, or limousine
services.
By car:
Travelling from the Vancouver International Airport should take approximately 2 hours by car, dependent on weather and traffic. The drive from the Airport, through downtown Vancouver and then onto the Sea to Sky highway is not difficult. You essentially follow Highway 99 north. Car rental companies can provide the directions, however, the office has driving directions with a few added notes for anyone wanting to request those. When you arrive in Whistler, follow the signs to Whistler Village. Turn right onto “Village Gate Blvd”. The first right should be “Whistler Way”. Stay to your right and follow that road past the Convention Centre and then onto the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa. Long Distance Scheduled Buses
Getting to and from Whistler, Victoria on Vancouver Island and even across the border to Washington State is easy from YVR. We have a number of scheduled bus services that depart from the International and Domestic Terminals.VR Whistler/SkyLynx - connects Vancouver International Airport with both Whistler and Squamish along the sea to sky corridor.
Buy tickets at the Whistler/SkyLynx bus counter located in our Domestic Terminal Arrivals, Level 2; International Terminal Arrivals level or on the motor coach. Credit cards accepted.
Arriving from a Canadian destination and heading to Whistler?
Board the YVR-Whistler SkyLynx bus at Domestic Terminal Arrivals, Level 2. Walk out of the building and look for the bus sign as you exit the terminal.
Arriving from a U.S.A. or international destination and heading to Whistler?
Board the YVR-Whistler SkyLynx bus at International Terminal Arrivals, Level 2. Walk outside of the International Terminal building and look for the bus sign to your left as you exit the terminal.
Buses to Whistler from Vancouver International Airport leave several times a day. See schedule below for both Vancouver Airport and then Whistler to Vancouver Airport. Always double check with the carrier to confirm times as schedules can change.
